How we work

New methods earn their place
Being close to the state of the art is not the same as shipping it. A method goes into the product when it beats what we already have on our own evaluation, not because it is new.

The hardening is the job
The interesting part sits between the idea and production: making it hold up against bad data, missing logs and someone actively trying to fool it. That is most of the work, and we do not treat it as the boring part.

You own what you build
You write the simulator, the training loop and the harness yourself, and your code runs in the product. Nothing gets thrown over a wall to an implementation team.

Say the gaps out loud
A capability map that only lists what we can do is a marketing document, not a plan. We write down what we cannot see yet.
